I definitely agree with everything that was said in class on Wed. I've been through many job functions and occupations starting from hospitality, retail, telecommunications, banking, sales, to where I'm at now and by far I would have to say that at my current job I have never ever met a controller that so unconscious to her scolding and her disrespectful manner. She constantly speaks to all of the employees with a condescending demeanor and the majority of the employees do not like to work for her. This, in my opinion decreases productivity because of the morale of the firm.

Also, How do I post a video like you did that shows the video on the post. It's been such a long time that I have dabbled with HTML because I'm trying to post a video from money.com

The link is on this page. It's very interesting and Enjoy the game!

I think it is very important to manage a good meeting. how do you run a meeting represent who you are and your work ability. People will get through things clearly if you present a good meeting, and they will certainly perform well.

I think the girl in the flash should give an example or show an idea, so that her employee could rely on it and give her more idea.

I got to say, this lady is getting no were in this meeting. She is trying to get her employees to brain storm new ideas, but ends up making them feel bad about themselves. She talks to them in such a condescending manor, that she actually inhibits them from expressing their ideas. I’m not sure how I would react if I were in a business meeting that went like this one. I just hope this clip was made as a joke and not an actual meeting.

I guess she is despairing; either she herself has no idea what brain storm should be like or her employees just don't feel inspired by her. Routine meetings are easy to get people feel bored and automatically shut down their brain functioning or day dreaming during the meeting especially when the controller himself/herself is not an interesting person or doesn't have the characteristic of inspiring people around him/her. Also, when the controller acts so pushy like the lady in the video and the relationship between the controller and the rest is not good, I guess no one would feel like talking creatively. Maybe she should take a break and I guess during the snacking time she may be surprised how creative her employees are.

The key to a good meeting is respecting all the participants including the one hosting the meeting.

The last thing anybody wants to hear is pressure and blames. All of the humankind works on the same grounds: inspiration and good way of being addressed in public.

Nothing seems to be good enough for her and this would discourage others from saying their opinions or even thinking further.

I wonder how does the company under her leadership look like. I guess she probably will be the lest popular and most fearsome creature in the company.

I remember this video. And my memory is not the best. This lady did not seem to work with her employees. Instead she threw the workload on them and expected to get an efficient response from them while overly criticizing their ideas

She definitely is a bad leader no question about it. She does not know how to run a meeting. She keep blaming her employees even thought she is the one to be blamed. TOO BAD!

Speaking to anyone in condescending manor will get you no where. I dont give the time of day to anyone who speaks down to me, so i definitely wont work a company that encourages this type of communication.
