Taking a Short Break

This 2 minute diagram is meant to represent a person, possibly me with hair, stepping away from his keyboard. I am taking a break for a number of days and don’t expect to be back on this blog until late August or September. In the meantime feel free to comment on the historical entries posted here, or look for the debut of www.EdwardKurpis.com coming live in late June or July.

The last few weeks have been rather interesting ones for me workwise. It is an exciting time, but unfortunately I can’t explain why at the moment. There is a lot to be pondered, and so I find myself doing a lot of pacing up, forth, back and down:

This is why I need a break...and some new shoes. See you soon.

I think you've done quite enough throughout the semester. Thinking of all those activities is definitely a better academic guideline than other classes I've been in.

I would love to take a short break for the summer, but I'm quitting my current job tomorrow, and starting a new internship on Monday. It just doesn't stop for me.

Have a great summer, its gonna be hotter than ever!

Oh Prof. Kurpis,

you have been a blessing.. that's all i can say. Don't worry about what happened during finals.. God has his ways of stretching me, and you were his instrument during that particular time.

I wanted to let you know that I am following my vision... and so, I'm going to China this summer. I trust I'll come back pumped up about missionary work and development studies. In the same way I pray you get your rest and come back renewed for yet another semester with Baruch students. I really admire your person and your giving so much time of yourself to prepare our classes. Have an AWESOME summer!

Thank you professor for a wonderful semester. The projects you created were very interesting and it helped us to understand the lesson much more clearly. You really helped to bring your point across by allowing us to do group activities and im sure we all had a lot of fun.
You were a great manager of the class because I feel that we have all learned a lot from you. Philisophical thinkings shared by you were very inspirational and this class helped to motivate me to do better and possibly even more for my other classes as well. Thank you for creating a motivating light towards our vision. Thanks for allowing us to post on blogs and instructing us to read other peoples blogs because it helped to show that we are not alone in our goals to become sucessful. We have friends and strangers struggling to achieve a similar vision.
Thank you

Its a good idea to take a break and people like you who work very hard eventhough you don't need to do it, desrve a long break. I hope you had good time during your break.

Taking good vacations is as important as working hard at work, in my opinion. I really hope that within the next year I will be able to afford to step away from computer screen for about a week. School and work kept me glued to the computers and I really need to break away from that. Hopefully, the planning trick and tips I learned here will help me in this efforts.
